I have made two of these button necklaces like the ones from Button It Up by Susan Beal. This one was for Granny M’s Birthday

and the other one is for me. I used new and old buttons from my button box, including some lovely engraved shell ones and ceramic ones.

I am pleased with them and they are lovely and light to wear. It took a bit of perseverance to get the buttons the right way, and they still turn over when I’m wearing it sometimes, but I do love buttons!
